    Exclamation S2000 Do-it-yourself mods & repairs

I think it's a good idea to have a list of posted do-it-yourself mods that are out there that include pictures and detailed instructions on how to do certain things. The links below point to a thread that has a good description on how to do something. Please feel free to post links as you find them so that we can have a good comprehensive list of pictures and direction for fixes/repairs/mods. They don't necessarily have to be from this forum either. Any source on the internet that clearly explains something will work. Thanks.

Any instructions on installing the one-touch up window modules. I have owned them for over a year. It's about time I do something with them. Maybe this weekend since I won't be going far with the clutch issues.

Send a PM to Modifry, maybe he can send you the schematic that we used to do the install.

Here you go Tut - I found Bob's diagram from the last time we installed these. This mod is THE BEST! Enjoy! I know I sure do (with much thanks to Modifry and S2kDude!).

Has anybody installed a XM Rodie2 in their S2K? I would like to see some mounting and hardwireing ideas. I did not opt for the factory XM option as I would like to move the unit between different vehicles.

    Thanks,
    Chuck

I just put one in my wife's Civic, but it's not hardwired. She wanted to keep it portable.

did some research on Ricks 4.57 gears. Some find the whining problematic others dont because "race cars whine" (Note the quote). has anybody installed the 4.57 gears and had their fluid checked for shavings, or not had the whine at all?
