As per request, I'm posting this info in a new thread incase anybody is interested.

This Saturday the 4th will be the pre-run for the December drive. I will be in my S and exploring the Northeastern area for our run in December. This might involve many stops, U-turns, and backtracking but anybody that's up for it is free to tag along.

Saturday the 11th of December I will be taking my street bike up to do the 120 loop and brasstown bald if the weather is nice. Anybody that wants to tag along for that is also welcome.

For the prerun on saturday the meeting place and time will be noon at Toosey's. For the bike ride on the 11th, it will be at 11:00 at Toosey's. Post here if you're interested in going.

I am planning on watching Jones drift his car that day. But I will see you the following week.

David is super sick, but getting better (note he hasn't posted in a few days). He would not miss the drifting event this Saturday for the WORLD. He (and I) will definitely be there. If you don't get a kick out of him drifting around the parking lot at Turner, y'all can get a kick out of watching me try and drive his (huge) truck to and fro...hopefully not drifting!

You might want to post directions to Toosy's for those of us who've never heard of the place.:confused:

Toosy's is a biker shop off Hwy 19 north of the outlet malls. Get on 400 and go north until it stop being interstate like and turns into a four lane hwy (hwy 19). Eventually, you'll get to an outlet mall on the left side, I think it's at the second red light you come across on that road. Go another few miles and there is a sign on the right that says "Toosy's." It's easy to miss, so watch for it.

Here's a map: http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?country=US&countryid=US&addtohistory=&searchtab=address&searchtype=address&address=251+Highway+400&city=Dahlonega&state=ga&zipcode=&search=++Search++

Don't forget your radios.

Don't forget that the pre-run is tomorrow. Also, don't forget your radios (I have an extra if someone needs to borrow one. I'll leave Toosy's at 12:30 so call me if you're running late. You can get my number from the member section or PM me.

Anybody not going should go watch David demonstrate how the RSR guys should have been drifting.:goodjob:

BTW, for next week anybody can come up to do the loop with me. Better to have cars tagging along than nobody. Anybody interested in next week at all? I might need a passenger seat incase someone has to scoop me off the road.

Well, Saturday was an excellent day for driving. It turned out to be me and Tony ripping through the mountains. There was a lot of talk about cops, but we didn't run into any fortunately and the traffic was light in the twisties.

Unfortunately, I hit some sort of plastic object that darted across 400 and left a nice nick in my front bumper :(

Atleast it's not in plain view so it's not a huge deal, but if I want to fix it, the clear bra has to come off. Do you think my insurance would cover the clear bra replacement if I had it repainted and all?
