I think it's a good idea to have a list of posted do-it-yourself mods that are out there that include pictures and detailed instructions on how to do certain things. The links below point to a thread that has a good description on how to do something. Please feel free to post links as you find them so that we can have a good comprehensive list of pictures and direction for fixes/repairs/mods. They don't necessarily have to be from this forum either. Any source on the internet that clearly explains something will work. Thanks.

After 40,000 miles and almost 4 years of driving, I noticed the fluid looking a bit on the brown side. This weekend I bought a quart of Valvoline SynPower Dot3/4 (http://www.valvoline.com/pages/products/product_detail.asp?product=51) brake fluid (only $4.98 at Advance Auto Parts) and replaced the old fluid in my brake and clutch with new fluid.
Not hard to do, no special tools needed just some patience and about two hours time. If you don't have any kind of fancy speed bleeder system you'll need a second person to pump the pedals.
Basic procedure for changing fluid and bleeding the brakes:
1) Jack up the car onto jack stands and remove all four wheels.
2) Remove some of the old brake fluid from the resevoir, a turkey baster works pretty well. You'll want to lay down an old towel around the brake reservoir to catch any spilled fluid.
3) Top off the reservoir with new fluid, careful not to spill any as brake fluid is not kind to paint.
4) Starting with the driver side caliper open the bleeder valve to begin draining the old fluid. You'll need a small length of tubing to fit over the brass nipple, a 10mm wrench to open and close the fitting, and a catch bottle to drain the old fluid into.
5) In order to not let any fluid back into the system only loosen the fitting when your helper is applying pressure to the pedal. Once they have the pedal to the floor tighten the fitting and then your helper can release the pedal. Once the pedal returns your helper should apply pressure again to be ready for the next time you open the bleeder valve.
6) Keep pumping the pedal opening and closing the bleeder valve until the fluid appears to be mostly clear.
7) Repeat for the passenger side front, passenger side rear, and driver side rear.
8) You will occasionally need to top off the reservoir with more fluid as you bleed the system. Don't let the resevoir run out of fluid otherwise you'll pump air into the system.
9) Once all the old fluid is out, top off the brake resevoir one last time.
10) Replace the rubber "nipple covers", clean off any spilled fluid.
For the clutch (very similar to the brakes):
1) Remove some of the old fluid out of the clutch reservoir.
2) Top off with new fluid (use the same Valvoline Synpower).
3) For the clutch, the bleeder valve is at the slave cylinder which is mounted just ahead of the transmission.
4) You'll need an 8mm open end wrench, a length of tube, and a catch bottle. Connect your length of tubing and have your helper sit in the car ready to push the clutch pedal.
5) Just like doing the brake pedal, open and close the bleeder valve in sync with your helper pushing down on the clutch pedal to drain the fluid.
6) Check and top off your reservoir so you don't get low on fluid and pump air into the system.
7) The clutch system is small and it shouldn't take long to get out the old clutch fluid.
8) When the fluid runs clear, tighten the valve one last time and replace the rubber nipple cover.
9) Top off the clutch fluid reservoir one last time.
10) Replace your wheels and drop the car off the jack stands.
11) Pump the brakes a few times, start the car and go for a test drive.
12) If the brake pedal feels soft, not firm right at the top, you have some air in the system and you will need to go back and bleed the system some more.
13) Check your clutch pedal, you should have about an inch of play at the top, too much play and you have air in your clutch line and will need to bleed that again.
Overall, you should have improved pedal feel and with the Valvoline Synpower fluid some extra protection from boiling your brake fluid at the track.

Easiest way is to replace the delay valve. Cheapest way is to modify it. However, it also looks stock and not altered if you modify it for warranty purposes.

It's not that involved. The hardest part is getting that damn retaining ring out. You need a sharp dental pick to do it right. I've done it before with automotive picks with Jeremy at Alan Cox, but fiddled with another one for about an hour before I gave up and broke two picks. I guess it just depends on how lucky you are and how sharp your picks are.

Not unless you take out the convertible top (and add a hardtop) and somehow fit them back there in the well behind the roll hoops.
Why anyone would want two 8" subwoofers 4" away from where they sit I'll never know.

In answer to your question, there's not enough room. There's a structural brace behind the panels that you have to cut a small piece out of just to get 5.25" speakers in. There's no way you're going to put subs in there.
In my '04 I had to cut the brace and mount ny speakers on 1" adapters because they were too deep (Polk MOMO MMC525's). In my '05, I still had to cut the brace, but I didn't need adapters because the new speakers (Infinity Reference Series 5000cs) aren't quite as deep.

i have a q's i've seen a s2k with blue hud instead of the regular orange does anyone know how to change it or what???? it looks crazy..
Uh...S2Ks don't have hud. Are you talking about the dash display? If so, I've only seen one car with the colors changed, but I don't know exactly how he did it. You could pm Dewain27 and ask him.

There are a couple ways to go about doing it.
The S2000 dash has an LCD screen in front of a colored plastic later, backlit by several rather normal lightbulbs. There are also a few bulbs around the edges of the 'glass' so as to edge-light the painted-on numbers and lines.
I've heard of three ways to change the color of the dash:
1. Change out the colored plastic layer for a different color. The original layer is clear with black paint in all the areas that aren't supposed to show through, and yellow or red or green paint where indicators show through. Find yourself a lexan, plexiglas, or polycarbonate sheet, cut it to shape, mask it off and paint it in the colors of your choice and install it in place of the original layer. You can also try scanning the original layer and ink-jet-printing a new layer on transparency plastic and installing that in your dash with a clear layer of plastic to keep it flat.
2. Change out the bulbs for colored ones. This doesn't work so well because the colored layer affects how the light from the bulbs appears. Might work best if you combine colored bulbs with method 1 above.
3. One of the guys on S2ki (MacGyver, I think?) had created a circuit board to hold a large number of colored surface-mount LEDs behind the LCD indicators. The LEDs took the place of the backlighting bulbs. So far, this has only been shown to have been created for AP1s.

Yeah, that was one of modifry's solutions. I guess he took down the how-to when he changed the site over. You could probably message him for a copy of the install. His site is www.modifry.com (http://www.modifry.com)

Here's another good thread on DIY brake caliper painting (http://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=238689) from S2ki.com, vintage 2004 :).

If you go through it, you might want to check some of the links. Here is the message I get when I clicked on the first four links.

If there was an easy way to grab those web pages and host them on our site (which I know there is) then we would not lose the linked information.
