I got new rubbers!

I'm ready to pound the pavement again. I just got back from Butler Tire in Doraville. Needless to say, I really miss the cost of the tires on my old car, but high performance demands high dollars. Anyway, I saved almost $300 today by being a member of this club. I had an alignment, new tires all around, nitrogen filling and a high speed balance (to be done after I put in new pads).


It turns out that I cooked my brakes pretty good at the track as well and need new pads. Everyone should do a complete checkup after track days to prevent bad things like what happened to Tom and his rotors. Anyway, thanks to Geordie for taking care of me.

I went with the RE050's. I liked them so much at the track and on the drives plus Butler actually gave me a price below what Tire Rack had listed. I think I'll try the Kumhos next time though. I need to start saving a few $$.
