Super Sizzling Seloc & S2000 Night! 11/19 at 7pm

Greetings S2000 Atlanta. This is about the co-meet we are having 11/19/04 from 7pm- whenever, a Friday night. You came out strong to our July Super Meet and quite a few of us have hung out before. Dewain and I have spoken and we want this to be a great co-meet. SELOC meets every 3rd Friday nights at the Starbucks Downtown off Piedmont Rd. The management there is cool with us and have free samples of desert and coffee. We'll check each others rides out and after chatting for an hour or 2, take a "spirited" drive up GA 400 and go to Andretti Speedlabs to finish the night! There we'll eat, drink and play games and be merry! We'll be working on discounts at Andrettis for everyone.

Directions:
From the Southside:
Take 75/85N the downtown connector to 85N. Exit at GA 400N. Get off at the first exit and make a left at the light. At the 2nd light (Piedmont Rd), make another left. Get in the right lane the Stabucks is visible on your IMMEDIATE right, turn right at the light into the parking lot.

From the Northside: Take 75/85S to GA 400S. Make sure you have 50 CENTS for the toll booth. Get off the first exit after the toll booth (Lenox Rd). Veer right and get in the left lanes, at the 2nd light (Piedmont Rd), make another left. Get in the right lane the Stabucks is visible on your IMMEDIATE right, turn right at the light into the parking lot.

For those coming late and want to meet at Andrettis.
Take GA 400 N to exit 8 Mansell RD. Turn Left. Get in the Right lane. Go down until u see Alpharetta Hwy (you will pass a Lexus dealership) make a right, get in the left lane. Andretti speedlabs is ahead on the Left.

There was a turn out of what like 10 Lexi that went on to Andrettis, about 5 or 6 S2Ks? We even had Ruiner with his awesome 911 Porsche Turbo come and hang for a little while at Starbucks. Some of our non-lexus SELOCers came, Slim, bennie, and bags as well.

I know I am probably missing some people so my count isn't final.

I heard that 808 is the new official go cart drifter or something like that. lol ;) I wish I had been there to watch you guys race! Anyway, thank you for coming to hang out with us at our meet. You are more then welcome to come to our site, and come back to hang out. All in all it was a successful meet (besides the rain). You guys keep in touch! :goodjob:

Alright, what a meet!
I arrived about 7:15 and the parking lot was pretty thick. It was drizzling but it did not keep the hardcore people away! The S2000s were together and we did our usual great parking job :lol: . I did not take an official roll call but there were over 20 people there. We waited on Bing and left together to go up 400N. Man there were TONS of HID lights (S200 has HID standard as well). Looked very good.

We hung out at Andrettis, got our 10% off Fuddruckers and all ate together. After that the 2 groups mingled outside and talked. GE had Andrettis rented until 10:30 so we could not play anything until they left. :mad: .

Afterwards, Amy, Derf (Fred), Eric and Derrick and myself went to a cool Irish Pub and drank a couple and left about 12:30.

A great night!! Though it was raining, it was a mild, pretty warm night.
