So after 6 months in the S2000, it happened to me. I just got out of a movie and couldn't get decent reception on the radio and realized when I got home, the antenna was missing.

I hear this happens a lot. How much for a new one? And what's the secret to preventing this? Lock-tite?

Pissed but getting over it,

I had my first antenna stolen a little over a month ago. I think it happened while I was at the gym. I suppose once youngsters figure out that they just screw right off that it creates a really fun game for them. Oh, well. Not sure that there is much to do to prevent it other than taking it off and throwing it in the car or trunk when parking.

H and A Accessories sells the replacement antenna for just under $20 and shipping is free.

lock-tite will only slow them down. it doesn't work too well.

Sorry to hear that happened. I'd suggest Loc-tite, there are different types, get the color that really locks that's more permanent.

Locktite may cause lack of conduction for the atenna... I don't know if that is a good idea.... maybe others can attest to this being an issue.
