Hey guys, I just got my exhaust in and I need a good muffler shop that does nice work. It's not a catback so I need someone that's experience in welding and cutting on the exhaust. Johnathan at Alan Cox suggested G&S. I called them and the guy wasn't even sure that our cars had a dual exhaust so I'm kind of hesitant. Could anybody throw out a recommendation. I'd like to get this done before tomorrows meet so the sooner the better. thanks.
Oh, and in the atlanta area would be good. west side, north side and south side is ok as far as metro area.

I've been using Meineke Mufflers on Bufford Hwy. They are in Doraville just inside of 285. They are very cheap, and do a great job.

Magic Muffler in Chamblee (I think) They do custom Miata work and one of the owners has an S. They gave me a great quote for doing the Magnaflows.

Thanks for the info guys. I actually spent all Tuesday morning calling every muffler shop around and being turned down. No one wanted to touch my project. Alan Cox referred me to G&S who claims to have the best custom work and appeared in magazines and all and they told me they couldn't do what I wanted. Now, in America in this day and age, I just assume that you can do whatever you want if you want to pay for it, but that didn't seem to be the case that morning. I eventually ended up taking my stuff to a fabrication shop that does custom projects and was willing to experiment with what I had. Apparently this had never been done before. I don't want to spoil the surprise, so you'll have to wait a few weeks to see how it turned out. If it does, it will definitely be a one-off exhaust for an S.

I'm not sure yet. Exhaust so far was $600 for the mufflers. The fabricator quoted me an hourly rate of $58, but I'm not sure how long it's going to take him (hopefully not too long). I'm pretty optomistic that it will work out but if not, I'm at a complete loss. Plan B is to just buy a comptech.
