I'm am very upset, but there is no way that I can go this year...I will be there next year for sure...I'm in a friends wedding and just found out that my hotel is $120/night for 3 nights...so...there goes my Dragonball Run money...

Turns out that Dewain and I aren't going to be able to make it. Due to funds being an issue and things that he has to get fixed on his car. His clutch needs to be replaced, he needs new tires, and other unmentionable issues. I was looking forward to seeing everyone but maybe another time!

Just open up the clutch and spray the plate with some aircraft adhesive before you make the run. I'm sure that will be more than safe for the dragon.

On a side note, I booked a double for the dragon, but my brother has backed out. So, I have a free half if anyone wants to split the cost.

It's true! His job is paying a lot, however, he has to get paid first. By the time his first paycheck comes he won't have enough time to get the clutch replaced and new tires. Also, you have had the clutch issue for over a year now and that is why you can't use that excuse anymore. Really overall, we just can't go because we had a family emergency that we have to take care of and I can't really explain or go into what happened. If Dewain wants to he can share what happend, other than that don't push it. He has enough stress on him with this Home Depot crap getting a lawyer and then this thing that happened last night with our family, and starting a new job where he gets paid hourly not salary and can't take time off unless it is neccessary!

The good news is that we finally got a site for our SCCA autocrosses down here in Macon. The bad news, for me at least, is that our first autocross at the new site is going to be held September 12th. I've got to be there to help out, so we're not going to be able to run the Dragon this time around. We're all pretty bummed that we're going to miss seeing you all again, but we'll do our best to make the next SESM and to help wake the dragon.

Abagail and I have really been looking forward to chasing you and Lilly through the mountains again, and I'd really rather go on a run with you guys than go to an autocross. Unfortunately, the SCCA needs the support, so I've got to be there.

I'll post our autocross schedule as soon as I'm sure that it's not going to be changing.
