Here is a thread to post where you see the local law enforcement running a stationary speed trap. Please post the location, date, time of day, and if they were using X/K/Ka or Laser to clock speeders:

Location: HWY316 Westbound at the ramp to Riverside Drive
Date: 11/14/06
Time: 8:20AM
Radar/Laser: Laser
Description: Evel Knievel (Lone officer on a motorcycle) standing roadside.

Maybe we can warn other drivers and help them avoid a ticket.

Location: Sugarloaf Pkwy East bound between 85 and 120.
Date: At least twice a week
Time: 9:00 AM
Radar/Laser: Laser
Description: Motorcycle cop(s) always shooting on the slight down hill. (I see them often in the morning but I'm going west so I'm safe.)

Location: Intersection of Buford Hwy and McGinnis Ferry Road.
Date: Many times a week
Time: 10am-1pm and around 3-7pm
Radar/Laser: Laser, sometimes Radar
Description: Motorcycle cop(s) always shooting on the down hill. Can't see them until you are about to downhill. Cop will get you if you are running over 60 (easily when you are running downhill).

Description: Motorcycle cop(s) can be on either side of the street.

Location: Freedom Pkwy (coming from 85)
Date: Once a week
Time: 5:30 pm
Radar/Laser: don't know
Description: Speed limit is 35 (stupid) on Freedom, so when you get off the ramp doing 65, sloooow down!

Location: HWY20 (Buford Drive) Southbound after Old Peachtree
Date: 11/27/06
Time: 8:30AM
Radar/Laser: Laser
Description: Gwinnett Police car sits on the right after you crest a hill. I see him there as I cross over HWY20 so it's no problem for me but for those heading South on HWY20 after the Mall of GA keep an eye out.

Description: Cobb or Marietta police sitting just past church on side of the road in dark
