This site (http://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/) will let you know early where to shop on the day after Thanksgiving, if you are into that sort of thing.

Speaking of Black Friday - I will share a big secret that we discovered about 15 years ago. The best time to shop is this coming Wednesday evening, the day before Thanksgiving. The stores are empty of people because everyone is either traveling, or getting ready for Thanksgiving company. Also, the stores cannot magically post all of the sale prices for Black Friday on Friday, so we found many if not all of the black friday prices were available on Wednesday night.

Over the years it has become more crowded, but is still no more than a regular shopping day. The first years we did it, we were the only people in the stores. Our tradition is to knock out all of our Christmas shopping on that one night and it has never failed us.

Keep this inside the club - we don't want everybody out on our secret day.

Very true, and this year there are a lot of deals already out there for the taking now.

If you need to shop on Friday, go late. Chances are that you won't get that limited edition deal at 5am anyway, and all of the warriors will be sleepy by mid-afternoon so the malls clear out early.

Home Depot is selling a 32" LCH HDTV for $478.00 (Element FLX-3202) for "Black Friday".
Details (http://www.fatwallet.com/t/18/671010/)

The thing is they delivered them early and they're already out where people can just grab them.

Website has posts from people in Atlanta that have already found them:
Athens, GA: top shelf, near light bulbs
Morrow, GA: top rack as you walk in
Ponce, GA: pallet in back right of store
Doraville, GA: on left as you walk in, right on the floor with Xmas stuff, across from Service Desk. They had 6 on 11/16, and 3 after I left.
