Okay, this may be a total N00B question...

I have noticed over the past several days that when I get on the throttle, the front end pulls to the right, and when I let off, it jerks back to the left. When I downshift, I get the same pull to the right. I have never noticed this before. When I coast and let go of the steering wheel, the car remains straight. Now my front tires need to be replaced as they are showing significant wear on the insides of each, so could that be it, or is there some other explanation?

I have had a similar problem.... I thought I was going crazy when I felt this....I felt this right after I purchased the car...now I don't nitice it as much.

I think it is un-even tire pressure..in the rear tires. If the rear tires have more than 2 lbs difference between Left and right side, I can feeel this problem.

However, you may have an alignment/other problem also!

^^^ Check the tire pressure. I had the same problem last year and that was the problem then. It could be somehting else, but try this first.

Yup, looks like the pressure is low on the rears - thanks!

Just for that I'm not going to tell you what my costume is and you'll spend the whole time at Joe's party looking over your shoulder for my impending revenge...

or, you know, whatever.:rolf:

Bingo! The S2000 is very sensitive to uneven tire pressure. I had the same issue, car felt squirlly in the rear. Turns out I had two nails in one of the rear tires and the tire had lost about 8-10 psi. Got the nail fixed, corrected the tire pressure imbalance and the car felt right as rain.
