Last friday, this lady passed out going down the road in front of my office building. She passed out...and well, went through the rather large brick sign (with rebarb in the middle...I believe the brick sign was 3-4 thick bricks deep).

One would think this could slow down a toyota...NOPE. She then proceeded to go through my parking space (I had just pulled out & into the street). She then hit my co-worker's chevy truck and totalled it.

The brick blocks she was still moving/pushing proceeded to fly about 20 feet in all directions in the full parking lot. I found one broken piece this morning that was at the building (about 45 feet).

No one was hurt, including the lady that passed out....well aside from the reason she passed out for.

She did so much damage that her 100k limits will have been met and exceeded.

I had just pulled out, gone 20 feet to the left, started to turn left onto a side road going the direction of her when she came blazing through.

I know this is not worth much without the pics, I'll post those later tonight.

My S lived :D & I am not compeletely upside down yet.:drive:

Damn! I never thought of a situation where one would use up the 100,000 dollar limit.

I don't know if her limit was property damage & vehicle damage. If it is a limit for everything per accident then she is in trouble. I imagine she will also lose her license due to a medical problem.

She immediately woke up after we busted out her window

She told us that she had diabetes, but the emt said it was not related to low blood sugar (or high). So, as of now, I have no clue as to why she passed out.

I can't post the pics because for me to access this site, I have to remote out to my home server. I don't share drives over the internet. Pictures are here in my office, not at my house. I have not been to the house for a few weeks now...tonight I am :)

As a side note, when we got to her car, she was lying under the passenger airbag that went off.

Sorry I couldnt get the links to display the pictures in here. I'll take advice on why it did not work :)

If you notice on the marks through the grass, not one skid mark. It was like someone had just jumped out of their car and hoped for the best.

Maybe she just fell asleep. The only accident I have had while driving was when I fell asleep at 2am after finals my 1st semester in college. I swerved into oncoming traffic and clipped an accord then rolled into a ditch. I didn't wake up until I was stopped and had no idea what happened.

I would think the pressure treated lumber in that sign would have been stronger.
Probably need to replace it with yellawood. :D

haha! It probably was yellawood. Dang I hate his commercials.

I know all around the sign was testing of different types of treated wood with our new chemicals....that of course was pulled up immediately...before the guy could go into his office and grab a camera.

Also, in the pics, that did not show the damage to the other say 10/15 cars from flying debree.....most everyone tried to move their cars out of the way.

It was odd....some cars close had no damage...some further away had more damage. Mine...NONE :D

The lady is ok...she has massive brusing from both air bags.....yes both the head caught the second airbag at deployment. Other than that and the unknown about what happened, she is fine.
