Yes, it's called Houston. :p

Seriously, Southfork is close. Billy Bob's is the world's largest honky tonk and it's close. Check out a Rangers game too. Other than that, it's dull and pretentious. :D

Uncle Julio's (great Mexican food)
The Sid Richardson Western Museum
Six Flags (Arlington)
Deep Ellum is pretty cool if you're into a Bohemian lifestyle
Brunch at the Worthington Hotel
Cattlemen's Steakhouse has the best steaks
Driving around at night is pretty cool, the buildings are lit at night
Texas SchoolBook Depository (6th Floor Museum at Dealy Plaza) - Where Oswald purportedly shot Kennedy
...and of course you HAVE to do Billiy Bob's - YEEHAW!!!

Some of these places are in Dallas which is real close by. My ex-wife is from Ft.Worth, so I used to spend a lot of time in the Dallas-Ft.Worth area since we used to visit her family quite a lot. I always enjoyed going there and actually thought about moving there once.

Definitely watch out for Texas State Troopers...they DO NOT play.

You got that right! Look out for them. Black cars with the state of Texas emblem on the side. Oh, and they wear cowboy hats (really, they do).
