fenders, headlights, hood, bumper

anyone know where I can find parts for the BMW's?

I dunno where to get the parts for it, but I would love to pick it up for you. Nice purchase! Those are so rare. Is it one of the manuals?

sweet. I saw a red one yesterday on I-20. I always thought they looked Ferrari-ish.

Cool Strickly German found the car for me (where my brother works) and they wills tart the paintwork after christmas for me. I am thinking it will cost 8-9k when the project is done but well worth it since the car still books for over 15k.

I have always loved this car and I picked up the latest issue of Bimmers and there was a 8 serioes buying guide inside. They made exactly 5,041 8 Series cars and 6XX of them were 6 speed .... mine was a auto but no matter :)

It does have a ferrari-ish type of look and is one hard to find cars out there

I will check the forest park store since I am apx 15 min from there

I see a BMW 8 series on my way to work sometimes but I think it is the V8 model, 840ci probably.

Checked Ebay and there's a 1997 V12 850ci with 81k miles selling for around $20k.http://www.s2katlanta.com/%7Es2katl/forum/images/smilies/grinning-smiley-003.gif The 850 is a really classy looking car, and the V12 is a killer motor. Maybe the only issue is possibly high maintainence on an older BMW.

This is true, the guy who had it before me took good care of it ... at the moment its at strickly BMW and they are redoing just about everything before I take delivery of the car. The V12 will be the worst part but it still gets 20 mpg considering my Tahoe gets 17 mpg and its a 05. I always wanted one but never wanted to spend the big bucks so I made this one a project of mine to restore
