I was just reading that there's an M Z4 coming. That sounds sweet to me.

I honestly believe that the M5 is quite possibly the greatest car ever built.... altough i hate that the manual tranny is now not an option, farkin SMG sucks!

Not here, but elsewhere for sure. I think I would pass on the M6 and get a 645ci Convertible instead. At least that way I could have a manual. Although I think they have confirmed an M6 Convertible.
M3 my ass.......
Z4s are butt ugly to me. I like the M6, especially if they do the M6 convertible. If not I would look seriously at the Audi RS4 for the $$. The M5 is a classic. It is a shame about the automatic though.

M6 will prolly not be a convertible, as one of its selling points is the Carbon Fiber roofs! Neither the 5 or 6 will be available as manuals! 500hp and no shifter to control it!

I was reading about the M6 cabrio in Autoweek, they had the little test mule spy shot thing going on. I know that selling point about the roof and all... but IMO the lightest roof is no roof!:D

Many times weight is added to convertibles because they need reinforced frames in order to keep rigidity they loose when cutting to top off.

:) I know... I didn't mean that literally, just figuratively.
