Car Shows or Whatever......

If you know of a car show, seloc car meet, motorcycle show, gun show or any kind of show or event that you are interested in or think someone here might be interested in, then post it. Posting it might be the only way some of us even know of these things. Post it here so that we can all know about it. It doesn't have to be an organized get to together for us to go. A few of us can go together or go alone and meet, it doesn't matter.... Just post it so that we can all know about it and make a decision about going.

The Blast from the fast past car show is coming to Mableton within a month. I do not know the exact date, but it will be only a mile from Dewain and my home.

This car show is sponsored by United Way and seems like it could be a fun way to kill a Saturday talking to others about your car and the registration is dirt cheap! Ten bucks! If it rains event day your only out a ten spot.
I know that there are a couple of events going on Saturday, September 16th such as the rafting trip and racing. I just found out that this United Way http://66.238.240.229/carshow/ (http://66.238.240.229/carshow/) event in Roswell is going on and if anyone or two of the club or outside members would be interested I might be highly motivated to Show Car Shine their baby for a very negotiable rate.
I am hoping my neighbor will enter his red, 1949, Hudson, convertible.
Real chrome! This baby is stock! It’s a lead sled! Crushes large stones into dust a real stone crusher! BIGGER than a SUV! Sooooo cool!
Finish is swirl city right now and this week or next I start working on making this rare beauty’s bright red paint and chrome look like lakes & pools of water from reflections. Oh man this car will hurt your eyes – or wear shades.

I used to work for UPS at the Innoplex and have worked on this car show multiple times. Its actually a very nice car show with a lot of cars and its gaining popularity every year. I dont think there were any S2000s there last year so it might be a nice change.

If the rafting trip doesen't happen, I'll go.
