Cleaning out the basement I found one each of the following:

Philips TS1000 "Pronto" touch screen remote control,

Philips DS1000 Pronto rechargable battery and docking station.

Both are discontinued models, but both are brand new - never used, in their original cartons.

When they were current models - the remote control retailed for $399 and the docking station and battery for $79.

Sold to best offer over $100 for both.

Thanks,

Bob, will this remote work with the Phillips DirecTV DVR receiver? If so, I will buy it from you for $100.

I've got the TS1000, it is a learning remote so it will work with any IR device. Just be prepared to spend many hours doing the programming. It's really cool though. It's a bonus that you also have the docking station w/ rechargable battery.

The DSR6000 and DSR7000 - Philips DirecTV w TiVo sat receivers do use IR - the Pronto will work with them.

But I find that the I still use the Philips DirecTV / TiVo remote, even though my Pronto is programmed with the satellite receivers remote codes. The Philips DirecTV "peanut" remote is very good.

OK Bob, unless you get a better offer, I will take it for $100. Right now I have the following remotes in my TV room:
Onkyo Receiver/Amp
Toshiba DVD Player
Sharp VCR
Sanyo TV
Hopefully the Pronto will simplify the whole process.

That may work. I'll have to see how things go here at work. If I can get out of here I'll be there.
