I don't know if I'm placing this in the right forum or not but I'm trying. If not the admins can move it to the correct spot.
I also don't know if this is a repeat or not if so I apologize. Just wanted to help you all out.
SPEED TRAPS
This is interesting. When you get the web site up, click on the state. Then the next window is a listing of all the cities in that state. Click on your cicty and the speed traps listed. I had no idea this was available to everyone.

Good site, but I wish it were organized better. They need a map with clickable points on it.

Very comprehensive although I don't know if it really helps any of us avoid a ticket as I don't think I could remember all the places listed. People tend to know where speed traps are along their normal commute and slow down accordingly. All the ones that I know of that are on my way to work are listed.

^^ It's helpful if your going to be driving in an area you've never been before though. :)

Yes when I drive somewhere I've never been before I'll be sure to check the website prior to going there and since I've never been there before I'll be sure to note those places where the speed traps are. Does anyone else feel the website is as useless as I do?

Maybe I'm crazy, but I actually would look up this kind of info and print it out before leaving, so I know ahead of time where the speed traps are...and I do have laser shifters.

For those with Garmin GPSs, you can actually find places to download speed traps and red light cameras into the GPS so it will warn you before you get to them.

I loaded the red light camera database on my GPS over a year ago and I don't remember where I got it.
You'll have to Google, sorry.
If you can't find it, let me know and I'll try to help out.
