$450 is a good price but I've already got an extra set myself that I'm really not using, bought them mostly for the new tires that were on them.

Maybe keep an eye out for someone on S2ki that needs one and you sell them one at a time. :goodjob:

Thanks for everything Tim!

And John for helping me out!Why did you need another set of OEM rims?? Just wondering...

Good question. The only answers I can think of is, in my case, they came with the tires. Also, if something happened to one of the wheels (which is not an uncommon occurance) I've got a replacement. If I have a flat I can use one of the extra wheels tempoarily while I get the flat fixed. Lastly, if I wanted an extra set for track tires I've got the wheels to mount them (although this is something I probably won't ever use them for).

If somebody offered me $400 for the wheels I'd probably sell them as none of the above are really reason enough for them to be collecting dust and space in my garage. I'll probably end up selling them at some point.

Kat, any of those reasons yours also?

She still has only one set as I bought her old wheels from her ... the ones I sold had near perfect tires and no curve rashAhhh, I see.

Man I hate that "curve rash", you should go see a Doctor about that.

http://www.planetsmilies.com/smilies/sign/3/sign25.gif Two of my rims had some "curve rash" , meaning I curved too close to a curb.:D

Given the chance I could have come up with a more interesting story than the truth, though...:rolf:

I have a spare set of '01-'03 rims. The tires on them are worn out, but the rims are ok. I could be convinced to sell them for the right price.

I had Rimsport refinish one of my OEM wheels on my old Honda Prelude. I watched the process which only involved them turning off (on a lathe) a few thousandths of material to remove some scratches from the front surface where NTB dropped the wheel while rotating my tires.

It looked good until Rimsport put the clearcoat on. Their paint booth was pathetic and there were lots of bubbles and dirt in the clearcoat. They asked if I wanted redone but I said, "and what would you do differently?" The reply was "nothing really" so I gave the bill to NTB and never would go back to either place.

Hey guys, I'm looking for another set of 16" oem wheels. Anybody have a set laying around? I need something to mount rain tire to. Thanks

Oh, and these can look like a dog chewed 'em too. I don't care.

Matt, I've got an extra set in my garage that I'd be willing to sell. Currently they have some well worn S02's on them but they may be good for AutoX.

I got a set for sale right now. Mild curb rash on front and passenger rear face was laid on conrete. (previous owner)

Rear s02 are almost new with 1k miles on it and the fronts need to be replaced.

$400 seems fair since the tires are pricey new.

I have a set of OEM 16" wheels for sale as well. They have SO2's on them. The rears are pretty much worn out with the steel belts showing. The fronts probably have 3K to 5K left. $350. Don't want to ship them so they are only for sale to locals or someone who wants to come pick them up.

I also have an OEM cat-back exhaust for sale. PM me with an offer.

Does anyone know Scareyourpassenger? He posted about a set of wheels rear S02s that I was interested in. Havn't heard from him since. Hope he reads this!

That's S2Kool's (John Bucy) son, Jeremy. I work with John, and I will mention it to him.
