FS: Escort 8500 X50

I've decided to sell my nearly new Escort 8500 X50 (red LED version). I've decided that I don't drive that fast on public roads and don't care for the noise it makes.

The unit is like new and works perfectly, retail price is $299, I'll sell it for $250. I'll also throw in the hardwire power cable (for mounting the unit with a hidden power cable) which is another $12 if you were to buy it from Escort. Basically a savings of about $65 if your going to buy one anyway.

I'm surprised that you are selling this! I have the same one and love it! Are you selling because of recent events? Are you going to take the funds you get from it and buy Pam a nice Christmas present?!? :) Are you just not going to drive over the speed limit anymore? That's how I was after I got my first ticket in the S. I was really careful for a while. I still try and be careful now, but sometimes......my brain kinda malfunctions and well, it's hard not drive the way the car is telling me to drive (ie - like the drive from Discover Mill's to my house after the car meet there....). :D

hmm... i only speed when i have to follow tim around now. other wise i drive like 2 miles under speedlimit because of recent events. and then when someone honks at me i flick them off and honk at them too :D

In my first post I said why I'm selling. I really don't drive that fast and in general radar detectors make noise (that's their job) and I don't care for it. I've changed the settings so I get fewer false alarms but I think if I keep my speed in check as I normally do I really don't need it.

Anyone want it?
